Ruti Pants Review (and Sale!)

Hellooo! If you’ve been waiting to buy THE Ruti pant, now is the time. It’s under $200 in classic black, which is the color I’d recommend from a versatility standpoint. (And if you reach this post and the sale has already passed, you can use code JEN15 for 15% off!) I’ve written dozens of times about these, but they are a true dream. They come in petite and standard inseams, do not wrinkle, drape like a dream, are pull-on (sweatpant-level comfortable), and do wonders at lengthening the leg. The site suggests these run big, which they do, but I like the slightly oversized and comfortable fit of my true size in these pants. I would personally recommend taking your true size.

These are absolutely my new travel must-have. They are so comfortable and look just as good in the morning as they do at the end of a long day of sitting, moving, etc (i.e., ideal travel pant). Also a “Swiss Army Knife” for a suitcase, as you can dress up or down once you’re at your destination. You can style with a blazer and kitten heel or ballet flat for something dressier (as I did above — wearing with this tweed blazer, my favorite denim-effect flats, and a Rue De Verneuil tote) or style down with a sweatshirt and sneakers for exploring. A wunder-pant if I’ve ever seen one.

*VB makes such great suiting vests that can also be worn with jeans and skirts! I love this petal pink color, but this patterned style (also VB) is on sale for $200 and such a great statement piece. Tuckernuck has a great option out this season as well — love both colors — and Aligne always has great waistcoat styles for under $200; love this one in butter yellow linen for spring.
