Something that truly delighted me this week: seeing a Magpie at one of my events wearing my exact alpaca ME+EM tee (she’d paired them with chic jeans and those ultra-comfortable, travel-ready M. Gemi flats I keep yapping about!). I took one look out into the crowd and thought: “like sees like! I see a Magpie!” Anyway, this is a really good top, and I know that other Magpie agrees. Super versatile. Looks great dressed down with jeans or dressed up with a festive skirt (as seen below). You can wear the scarf so many ways, and also remove it if so desired (and wear with other things!)
I wore my Cleo suede boots several times this week. I really love the way these look on the foot/leg and they are incredibly comfortable. It was WARM the night of this event and I wore a beautiful linen caftan similar to this from Asha (mine is past season) with dark burgundy details, which accommodated both the heat and the season. I also got more wear out of this beautiful pendant necklace. It works with so much!

Gray Thursday.
Didn’t get a photo of this on my body but wore this perfect slouchy gray sweater for the second time this week (the first time being with Coco!). It has such a good shape, with cuffs that taper in to give good shape to the wrists. It’s also REALLY soft. You can wear on bare skin.

We had my in-laws over to celebrate my MIL’s birthday and it called for COLOR. Someone once told me about the styling theory that you should wear “a ton or one” of a color. I don’t abide by that stringently but I think this outfit definitely demonstrates the “Taste the Rainbow” theory!
