+TORY BURCH PARIS APARTMENT TOUR: My sister was raving about this tour of Tory Burch’s spectacular Paris apartment — watching Tory in her pleated khakis partly informed her declaration that she would be channeling in recreating “90s Meg Ryan vibes” in her wardrobe this summer. I fully endorse the look. I couldn’t find the exact pair she’s wearing in the video (though she is wearing this gorgeous cardigan from her own collection), but found similar takes on this throwback look at Reformation, Vince, Veronica Beard, and Toteme. +CARO CLAIRE BURKE ON YESTERYEAR: My sister and I compared notes on Yesteryear when she visited last weekend; she loved it, praised it deeply, couldn’t understand my circumspection about it. It made me revisit my review on the book. Has your opinion of it changed at all, with a little more distance in the rear view mirror? I love the ritual my husband and I have going this summer: I’ll get up, wash my face, and put on the mask while I check emails in the morning, before the kids are stirring. Then I hand off the mask to him and he takes a turn. This is being married in your 40s. Anyway, we both notice improvements in the overall clarity/tone of our skin as well as decreased wrinkles around the eye area.
