Heads up: this is a post for the fashion risk-takers out there.  Some of you may recoil in disgust, others will look on with interest, debating whether they can pull it off.  And some of you will plunge wildly into the bold unknown.  A major trend during the most recent fashion week?  Pajamas for daytime.  Take a looksie:

So, let’s see.  I kind of like the idea of wearing pajama-esque pantalons.  I’m not totally sure I could pull of the whole nine yards, so this is how I’d approach it:

+My new favorite earrings ($38! — love an inexpensive statement earring!);

+White silk button-down blouse (J. Crew, $138);

+Silk cropped pants (Equipment, $240);

+Vince sandals ($395 — these will go with EVERYTHING for summer!);

+Brown crossbody (this Proenza Schouler is a perennial classic — $1,850);

Like the concept?  A few other pants I’m eyeballing: these from DVF (love the colors and fresh pattern); these from Banana; these patterned trousers from FRS; these from Clover Canyon (on sale!).  And these are probably the coolest of them all (AND on sale for $86!).

For the bold out there, you could actually dress up some classic pajamas with heels and a pop of red lipstick.  Some epic styles from incredible brands to consider:

Get the look more attainably with this Ann Taylor top ($79) and matching pants ($98).
