When I shared the “What to Pack for Nantucket” post earlier this month, I accidentally forgot to include a link to this striped sweater from Kule (in the heather blue / navy stripe) in one of the collages, and had no fewer than ten Magpies ask for a link! This made me realize how great a cotton striped sweater is for summer — perfect for pulling on with jean shorts on a chilly beach night or throwing over your shoulders while wearing a little white eyelet dress in case you get cold in the A/C.

Lately, I’ve been really loving this Marea “Lake” sweater because it fits snugly at the waist and therefore looks great with the looser-fit shorts and pants I’ve been wearing more often this season. I also love the embroidered detail at the cuff (seen above).
