The Skirts We Want to Wear This Spring.

By: Jen Shoop

I wrote about “denim fatigue” as a core marker of my February self — I think you must agree, because so many of you bought this gorgeous Tuckernuck skirt. We are dreaming of bare ankles and bright colors! I am already itching to pull out my Doen Sebastiane skirt (a favorite from the past two seasons, and seen above). I found a great current-year look for less here.

Anyway, I spent a lot of time in this bare-ankle fashion wanderlust, and I rounded up the BEST skirts for this spring. The exercise made me very excited for what’s to come. A lot of fabulous patterns and a-line shapes that hit mid-calf or longer. A lot of pieces that can be worn as two-piece sets or separately to extend their wearability.

Do you have any recommendations for skirts knee-length or slightly above? I am not a fan of long skirts but these all are beautiful. I dont know if skirt length choice is age appropriate or I am the late-30 something who likes shorter skirts showing off my legs, my best feature imo. Or just your style. Which seems very classic and elegant and this is mine as well as most pieces of clothing I own have stood the test of time.
