I am seeing lots of statement shorts and skirts for spring fashion, and I’m a true magpie (as in the bird, drawn to sparkly and shiny things) when it comes to patterns. Give me a botanical print any day of the week! Above and below, wearing a fabulous wildflower motif skirt (the bluebells got me!). I absolutely love the formula of pairing a great white tee with a stack of necklaces and an easy, pull-on skirt like this. So simple, comfortable, and feminine. BTW, the t-shirt is by that new-to-me tee brand, Goldies. I really love the fit and feel of this one — almost a burnout effect, and super lightweight. The brand gave us a code: JEN15. If you’re a fellow t-shirt junkie, you’ll love this one.

Anyhow, sharing a fun round-up of shorts and skirts in bandana/paisley, botanical, floral, eyelet, and more below —

PATTERNED SKIRT AND STRAPPY TOP SET // FLORAL SKIRT AND MATCHING TOP // LIME SKIRT AND TOP // PINK EMBROIDERED SHORTS // CORAL PAISLEY SHORTS // SILK CAMP SHORTS
01. This lovely coral paisley. I own these in a past-season print and they’re this really lightweight (but lined!), airy cotton. I wore them mainly over swimwear with a white tee over top. So comfortable but interesting. They have a matching top available — I usually try to buy the full set when available because they give you so much extra mileage. Throw them in your suitcase and you have so many options! Worn together with heels for dinner; worn with a white tee for casual exploration; the top with jeans or white shorts or white skirts…
02. Julia Amory palazzo tile print skirt. So good…!
03. These chic lightweight shorts with embroidered detail.
04. Love this on-trend scarf pattern.
05. Boxy silk short perfect for a beach vacation.
06. The wildflower vines pattern, seen above!
07. This block print midi skirt.
08. Fun ric-rac detail on this maxi skirt.
09. Doen antique-inspired rose print skirt. I actually bought the cobalt blue version of this skirt, per my post this morning, but I feel like Magpies might generally like this floral pink version.
10. Chic linen blend floral skirt.
11. Elegant Staud drop waist skirt (great look for less here).
12. This lime skirt stopped me in my tracks. I had to order it! (And I did, and I wore it last weekend!)
13. These feminine daisy shorts.
14. Love the luxe eyelet detailing on this skirt!
15. Lovely floral print on this cotton midi.
16. Stunning pink shorts with embroidered details.
And a few pair of really chic cropped pants to round out this bare ankle celebration:
01. The Donni taffeta pant that we all know and love. Swoon! Take your true size.
02. Versatile wide-leg pull on pant. Nancy Meyers would approve.
03. The lace trim detail is so good!
04. I can’t stop thinking about these Gucci-inspired pants. I find these European brands run really tiny in pants, so I keep second guessing myself on ordering. Has anyone tried?
05. So impossibly chic — the color, the shape!
