I’ve been re-learning my own hair thanks to my bangs — which I continue to love. A friend said “they just make sense on you” and I completely agree. I’m a bangs girl now! (Just a little nudge if you’re on the fence about trying a new style — do it! What would your 70-year-old self say?!)
A few tools and products I have been loving:

THIS HOT TOOL FOR RE-STYLING BANGS THE NEXT DAY* (SEEN ABOVE, ALONG WITH THE CUTEST TRIO OF COSMETICS BAGS, 20% OFF HERE)
THIS KERATIN SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER FOR STRAIGHT, GLOSSY LOCKS THAT REALLY “BEHAVE” THE WAY YOU WANT THEM TO
THE BEST BRUSH EVER, AND IT’S 20% OFF!!! — A MAJOR “REGRETTABLY WORTH IT” ITEM; I ALSO USE THIS SMALL ROUND BRUSH FOR HANDLING MY BANGS
K18 ALWAYS — ONE OF THOSE PRODUCTS THAT YOU NOTICE AN IMMEDIATE DIFFERENCE WITH AFTER ONE USE…HAIR IS SOFTER, HEALTHIER, SHINIER
BLOW DRY SPRAY AND PROTECTANT FOR A REALLY GLASSY FINISH
DYSON HAIR DRYER (THE BEST BEST — GO FROM DRIPPING WET TO DRY IN LIKE 5 MINUTES, IT’S INSANE)
THIS DRY TEXTURE SPRAY FOR “SETTING” BANGS
EVERY FEW NIGHTS, WHEN I KNOW I’LL BE WORKING OUT THE MORNING FOLLOWING, I APPLY THIS SERUM WITH A HEAVY HAND…IT’S LIKE MAGIC; YOUR HAIR IS THE SOFTEST ITS EVER BEEN
FOR DAY OLD OR RESTAURANT-SMELL HAIR: BYREDO HAIR PERFUME!
*I’ve noticed this has sold out a few places, but is still available at Sephora!
**More specialty use: when my hair feels really greasy or I’ve had a serious sweat session, I like to use this scalp scrub (currently 25% off), which I discovered from a girlfriend. SO GOOD. Hair feels so clean and bouncy at the root afterward. When my hair is feeling dry, I love to use either a mask or a heavy duty conditioner at the ends of my hair only. This conditioner is my long-time favorite, but it really only works on ends — too heavy at roots — and it smells like a dream!
***For second or third day hair, I still love this Crown Affair dry shampoo powder. They just released it in a travel size — hallelujah! I almost always try to stretch a blowout/wash while traveling, so this is huge. One tub lasts a really long time, though, even when you’re applying with a heavy hand (which I do). It comes with this perfectly shaped brush that deposits the powder right at the root — you sort of paint it on, let it sit, and then flip your hair around to blend it in. The only dry shampoo worth buying IMO.
BTW, if you are also going the bangs route, my two hair muses are Dakota Johnson and Daisy Edgar Jones. PERFECT BANGS. Great to take to your hairdresser for inspo…
