First: these are insanely soft — like a lightly brushed cotton, almost pajama-like in texture — but really look like denim! You’d never know if you saw me out on the street. Rag and Bone Sweatpant Jeans – Sizing Notes.

Go down a size in these; they run big. (I took an XXS but am typically an XS.) I find Rag + Bone denim generally runs generous. I am petite (5’0) and these are a tad long on me — probably by 2″. This is totally fine for at-home wear (especially with my beloved Rothy’s clogs, which have a slight platform), but I will need to either wear with a bootie (my favorite No 6 clog boot would be perfect in height and aesthetic) or hem if wearing out of doors.

In terms of fit, they are slightly baggy but not wide-leg/oversized — they have a taper to them that keeps them from swallowing you up. I absolutely LOVE the track pant detailing down the side. They positioned them very cleverly and flatteringly; the stripes are visible when you’re looking at them head-on and they make your leg look long, lean, trim! Rag + Bone is so brilliant with the way they tailor their denim. They really pay attention to the female body and what flatters it.
