Really, these easiest way to make a tried-and-true jeans-and-a-tee uniform feel instantly cooler and more interesting: add a great pair of sneakers or a cool coat. I’ve been wearing these low-profile suede sneakers on repeat this winter, and have had several friends/loved ones follow suit. They are really flattering on the foot — I think because they show a little extra ankle and have a slightly elongated toebox, they elongate the leg and work really well with cropped and full-length jeans alike. I have them in the latte color and it’s the perfect neutral — not too stark; have jut a touch of warmth to them. And I love that they’re logo-less! IMO they read like they could be a Loro Piana or some other low-logo prestige Italian designer. Strongly rec. Run TTS.
These also might fill a void in your shoe lineup — they did for my mom, at least! She’d been looking for something nicer than a true gym sneaker to wear with athleisure on travel days / on days it’s too cold for ballet flats. Voila!
