+DESIDERATA: I re-read this beautiful essay every few months. It’s packed with practical wisdom. Two gems that leapt out at me this read:

I put my own “desiderata” together a few years ago. Something I would add: “No one is paying as much attention to your life as you are. So you might as well go after what you love.”

She just released a gorgeous new cookbook full of fun appetizer and weeknight meal ideas, and I’m thinking I might invite some girlfriends over to try a few! On release day (I pre-ordered my copy weeks ago!), Landon was out with his buddies so I made myself a “couch snack” (one of the terms she coined in the book) and a cosmo and took my time paging through it. Such a fun micro-celebration.
