Last week, I picked up a couple of incredibly cute finds from Pehr for a friend with younger children (five months, two years!), and I found myself hazy with nostalgia. I miss my children at every age, but I have to say — a six month old baby with those rubber band wrists and enormous cheeks?! Pretty perfect. I picked out this tennis-motif dress for her daughter and this sailboat bubble as well as this dog onesie for her son. Too, too cute. BTW, I still think Pehr’s pouches are a fab gift for a new mom. Before I get too far into the details of this post, though, I wanted to shine a little spotlight on Izzy Lees, an adorable children’s clothing brand run by a Magpie reader named Sarah. Sarah founded the business to honor the memory of her stillborn daughter. She has a beautiful essay about this heartbreaking experience here, and I am so touched by her bravery and vulnerability.
