P.S. I always get a lot of questions about the leaning bookcases in my living room. They are SO brilliant and chic and surprisingly affordable. Once assembled, they can almost pass as a custom-built solution. They weren’t available for awhile, but are now carried again. So chic! We have two, one flanking each side of our media console.
P.P.S. More desk accessories and some chic home org gear from Target.
P.P.P.S. Great mirrors and great rugs.
A room of my own has been one of the great pleasures of our move. It’s hobbit-sized and periwinkle-blue and I adore it. My only issue is the single outlet (it’s in a part of the house that was built in 1690, so I suppose I should be grateful for any electricity at all). I seem to remember you had a roundup of extension cords that were low on the eyesore scale — do you remember any of them?
Hi Claire — Oh, I love the idea of a hobbit-sized, periwinkle writing room. Lovely! And so amazing that your home was built in 1690 — I love (!!) old homes.
Re: cords, let me think on it, but I think my principle offerings are…
+Cord covers: https://bit.ly/38w9jlJ — this is what Landon used in our living room to run all of the cords along the baseboards and then hide them.
+Power strip cube: https://bit.ly/2LE526G — not exactly for disguising cords, but I like this on my bedside table for ease of access….
xx
Ahh, these are great—thank you!!
Bien sur!! I’m all about hiding the ugly things. We don’t even keep our paper towel dispenser on the kitchen counter (!), which does have the added benefit of deterring their use!
