This morning, I’m wearing a cashmere set, making myself a salted honey coffee, and enjoying some Black Friday shopping by the fireplace.
A Coffee Recipe + Playlist for Black Friday —
Typically, I’m not a big specialty coffee drink gal (I almost always get an oat milk latte), but my friend Heather Bien posted this Salted Honey Coffee recipe and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head! I have all the ingredients on hand (does not require an espresso machine!) so I am going to try it this morning.

Love this list! A couple of questions for you if you have time today…how do you compare the AYR Legend and Secret Sauce jeans (I am pretty sure you have both). Another comparison – Henley’s, the Marea pointelle to Leset pointelle (+ others like Negative). You had a post in the past that compared pointelle favorites and am curious if you’d have any updates to share. Thank you, Jen!

+AYR Legends are more classic-fit, body-hugging, narrow. I think of them more like a Levis jean — just an iconic American shape. The Secret Sauce have a straighter, slightly wider leg. They feel maybe a tad more contemporary and casual. I took my true size in the Legends but went up a size in the Secret Sauce. I don’t know if this is specific to me but I’m a little curvy and the Secret Sauce looked better on me a little looser fit.
+Marea and Leset are both amazing. I’ve found over time I tend to prefer the Leset. It’s a little bit softer and thinner — maybe overtime with laundering it has become moreso, too — and I therefore find it a little slimmer of a silhouette on me. My only gripe with the Leset is that I wish the cuff at the wrist was more contoured/body hugging. It’s a little loose there but I think that’s the aesthetic. Marea is more form-fitting along the arm. I don’t know if these notes are helpful but just some observations that may/may not map to your preferences. Overall I just love the thin softness of the Leset and would prob rec them first.
Finally – Negative! Negative is more like true loungewear. It’s very thin and has a touch of transparency. I would not wear these for day outside the house personally unless truly bundled beneath a knit I’d wear over it the whole time. They’re pretty saucy! But also insanely soft/body-hugging.
