We Magpies have been loving (and living in) Faherty this summer. Today, sharing my top five picks from Faherty’s current offerings and how I’d style them —
01. Chic cotton twill drawstring pants. It’s been a year of statement/interesting pants! I love the ease of this pull-on pair for everyday writing and errands and mom life. I ordered myself a pair!

FAHERTY PANTS // TEE SHIRT // FLATS // HART NECKLACE
02. Love these active shorts — my favorite kind of athleisure; can function for a workout/walk but can also be dressed up a little bit for casual daytime wear.

FAHERTY SHORTS // TEE SHIRT // TKEES // ALEX MILL BAG
03. The most flattering smocked bodice dress. This is a wow piece, and I love her. One of those unicorns that can be worn with flip flops and loose hair OR dressed up with a red lip and big earrings.

FAHERTY DRESS // MARGAUX SANDALS // PURSE // NECKLACE
04. Adore the indigo blossom print on these shorts — these have been a bestseller among Magpies this summer! I like the idea of dressing up with a smocked top and then throwing everything off kilter with the “wrong shoe theory.” (These slim boat shoes are insanely comfortable — like a soft, supple leather and a cushioned foot bed. LOVE.)

FAHERTY SHORTS // HILL HOUSE TOP // BARCA SLIDE // TOTE
05. Chic but approachable — and not just a little bit sexy — dress. Swoon! Ooh la la!

FAHERTY DRESS // SANDALS // PURSE // SUNNIES
P.S. Vive la shirtdress.

Hey Jen! I’m considering the Faherty Sophia dress. I think you said previously you take an XXS in this- did you need to hem it at all? I’m 4’11!!
Hi fellow petite! I’m 5’0 and did not need to have mine hemmed. You might want to wear a sandal with a tiny tiny bit of height though, just to be safe — like an espadrille or something?

I have become a Faherty convert! I made my first purchase recently, the Fireside Dream Fleece in the candy stripe. The quality is remarkable and the item came so beautifully packaged. I’m lucky to have a retail location nearby in town. It’s such a wonderful shopping experience. Popped in there today and they had a YETI cooler stocked with coffee and a s’mores station set up. So charming!
P.S. I’ve found the Ann Mashburn and Frank & Eileen brand to be equally great quality.
Yay!! Agree with you on this trifecta of brands! Great quality, upgraded basics!! xx
Hi Jen, I have a post idea or if you feel like answering I would be curious to know your thoughts – a friend and her husband invited me to stay at their Hamptons rental with them for a weekend. Any hostess gift ideas? My friend is in her mid 30s, works in private equity, vegetarian, lives in NYC. She’s really not into cutesy home items – nice cocktail napkins or a vase would not excite her (unlike me, ha). Also, any ideas for small things to bring her 2 year old son would be appreciated too! Thanks in advance!
Hi! Maybe a specialty food delivery would be a better fit — a basket from a cheesemonger, a coffee bean subscription, really good ice cream or tea, specialty baked goods from a favorite bakery that ships, a case of wine even? Another idea: beautiful fluffy towels from Matouk. Who can say no to perfect white towels?! You just can’t go wrong. The other idea: my brother gave Landon and I a really splurgey gift card to a great/trendy restaurant downtown after he left. It felt like he gave us a date night out! Really special.
For the 2-year-old son:

+A dress up cape: https://go.shopmy.us/p-78230547
+A hat with his initial on it: https://go.shopmy.us/p-78230858
+An umbrella (kids love umbrellas at this age, I can’t explain why): https://go.shopmy.us/p-78231325

These are fantastic ideas that I was able to use — thank you!!
Yay!! Of course!
