While packing for London, I realized that I mainly want to wear shirtdresses — they just do me right. Comfortable, flattering, polished! I love to switch up the look by tying the belt “obi-style” (as seen above while wearing this Julia Amory eyelet shirtdress, currently on sale; you can look up how to belt this way on YouTube/Tok) or swapping in a belt of my own so it looks a little more self-styled. 01. Linen cotton twill striped dress — THE first thing I packed. I love the striping and material on this stunner.

03. Julia Amory knows her way around a shirt dress. This is the style I’m wearing above, and it’s on sale! One of my favorite pieces in my closet this summer. The deep pockets make it interesting.
04. I adore the unexpected collarless neckline on this classic shirtdress. I have a few shirtdresses from Ann Mashburn and they are, simply, next level. You’ll have them for decades.
05. This looks to be a wardrobe workhorse. I’ve never tried this small business but I’m intrigued! It seems like the founder is highly attentive to detail.

07. Unique zip-up detailing — love the utility vibes of this in the khaki color in particular.
08. Ultra-flattering navy stripe — cool sleeve length; the solid colors have great contrast stitching too.
09. Cotton gauze navy midi. Looks like a total dream to wear. A good contender for “evening hours” when you don’t want to wear your day clothes but aren’t ready for pajamas.
10. Staud striped a-line. Such a smart silhouette!
11. Scultuptural, elegant! This is a brand to watch. They just opened a boutique in Aspen and I keep seeing it pop up among the coolest dressed people I know!
