  1. Hello, great blog! Do you have any details on the black cardigan with the fur neckline in the first picture? Very cute!
    Thanks

    1. Thank you so much! The cardigan is actually vintage – it belonged to my grandmother! Will keep my eyes out for something similar! xx

  2. I am taking a French class for the first time in 3 years and I’m so happy to see my teacher again!! And it’s a solo class. Making the most of that hour a week.

I just read Make The Season Bright!! Love Ashley Herring Blake. Such a complex second chance romance. Total Hallmark movie but with big feels and big spice and the best banter. About to read Olivia Dade’s All By My Elf holiday short.

I’m loving seeing all my Christmas ornaments, decluttering a la Dana K White in prep for the season, finally finding decent gluten free beer in France, my Dorsey necklace (did you see the new pendants they released today? The cheapest is a stunner at $163!!) and now you have me eyeing those drops.

I’ve been trying Cyperus Rotundus oil after epilating (I saw a TikTok about how it worked as well as laser hair removal) and regardless of any hair effects it feels lovely and seems to prevent ingrowns? I bought from TheHerbalyst on Etsy since their sourcing is very transparent. It feels nice to add something to my everything shower routine!! Having young kids means it’s been a while since I’ve added.

I just bought some Caspari napkins to decoupage with! And I’m buying a Ruggable on Black Friday.

My daughter is in love with her classic Gund Snuffles teddy, so I’m getting her a pink minky faux fur sheet for when she moves rooms, I think she’ll love it. She loves a fur!

I’ve gone down a dollhouse rabbit hole, and you can really spin the Sylvanian family washing machine. My son will flip!

I was just worrying over a friend my son hasn’t seen in a few months (I adore the mom too) and we were just invited as one of two friends to his birthday party. Total glimmer.

I mentioned my new scent diffuser but we already used diffusers from this brand, and yet Cette Nuit by Fragonard is SO GOOD and SO CHRISTMAS-Y that it startles me every time I enter my bathroom.

My MIL and I are getting to a better place, and I’m so glad, I’ve missed her!! We were close before my pregnancies and I think it was tough for her to shift from Mom to Grandma, but we’re finding our groove.

    1. These are such lovely little field notes – especially happy to hear of the breakthrough with your MIL. Having those relationships in a sturdy place (especially if you’ve enjoyed that in the past) is so powerful.

      Dollhouse rabbit holes!!!

      xx

    2. Kelly, Snuffles was one of my very favorite bears, too! I’m sure I still have him somewhere. I’d get him out if my daughters didn’t already have so many stuffies that they can barely sleep in their beds. I’m also reading Dana K White in an attempt to declutter pre-Christmas. So far I’ve bagged up some things but they haven’t actually left my possession yet (grimace). There’s still time!! Loved your list 🙂

      1. Hi Stephanie! Not sure which one you started with but whenever I need a tiny prompt for a day, Organizing For The Rest Of Us comes through!! Decluttering at the speed of life is in theory the same thing but since it’s a chunkier book I sometimes get bogged down in the size of the project. Good luck!! It’s such a process. But if you just get 10% of the stuff out of your house, or 10% of the frustration out of your day, it’s a win. The fact that my sock drawer isn’t overstuffed feels so light. I keep an “outbox” list for the stuff I want to declutter but haven’t had a moment for yet, and this year I’m focusing on either completing projects or getting out the stuff earmarked for them with no guilt. It means I just used a jar of mushrooms I’d had for years (I made the most incredible stuffed mushroom inspired chicken burgers) and I’ve been using the paints and mod podge and beautiful paper I was hoarding, and that I’ve said goodbye to scraps of yarn and fabric that I don’t actually want to turn into a project after all. I encourage you to do this the “easy” way and lean into the parts of this that feel fun or have less friction, just like her idea of building momentum to encourage yourself. All the best! Onward.

        1. PS my mom’s clutter we’re working on includes a bag of 20 of those Gund Snuffles that have been in her closet as long as I can remember! Wonderful bears, and time for them to find homes
