Fun project in advance of back to school season: reorganize a corner of the house or playroom (or their bedrooms!) to set them up for a productive year. I have to really stay on top of Emory’s desk because she will completely clutter it with Legos, art, toy sets, fidgets, notebooks unless I continuously work with her to edit it down. Once it’s clear, it’s such a great and inviting space for her to do homework and create. Hill doesn’t yet have “a big kid desk” but I’m contemplating ordering one before the school year. Would be a really nice addition to his room and I think it will give him a dedicated place to work and keep things tidy. A couple of great finds along these lines —
