A few statement pieces that have caught my eye recently…I’m actually wearing the Alemais dress seen above to an oyster fest tomorrow night! I’ll be styling with these daisy-print mules.

P.S. My favorite white jeans and white shorts for warming weather.
P.P.S. A delicious cocktail to go with these summery looks.
P.P.P.S. What’s your intention for next month? I’ve been finding myself intuitively going into each new month with a specific intention/word. (Here was April’s.)
An oyster fest! How fun. With friends or a big event? The highlight of my nana’s summer is the Hooker’s Ball up at Cape Cod.
I’m deeply envious. I went to St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, home of Oyster Bake (a huge blowout with multiple stages that the whole city attends, funding half our scholarships), but my favorite was always Baby Bake, our Homecoming the month prior. Now that I’m an ocean away it doesn’t make sense to get back to San Antonio for it, but I know so many of my old professors and classmates make it back and I dream of the stars aligning for us to do the same. It’s not a gorgeous campus compared to some, but I had such a wonderful time at StMU that the beautiful little chapel and the picnic tables in the pecan grove and even the fence around the parking lot have a rosy glow in my mind.
I love your connection to the oyster roast / fest tradition! I can imagine how special those memories must be.
In my case, I’m going with some friends to a country club event!
