I can’t help it. I’m just the biggest Alice Walk fan girl. Her pieces are the ones I reach for week in and week out. They are SO well-designed, perfect-fitting, and high-quality. The attention to detail is next level. These are pieces well, well, well worth the investment. Right now, I’m fixated on this cashmere car coat. It comes in three solid colors OR a plaid, has a soft hand-feel but significant structure (and does not pill / pull — it can stand up to actual use), and is the perfect silhouette and design. By this I mean: length (covers rear, hits at mid-thigh in a flattering spot), wide enough arm holes to wear over a bulky sweater without bulging, and has deep pockets that can hold iPhones and wallets and the like. I straight up LOVE THIS COAT.
Other things I loved wearing this week:
+Veronica Beard Dash bag. My new go-to. I love the contrast stitching, the saddle shape, the whiskey color (somewhere between a brown and a gray), and the gleaming gold closure. It looks like it could be Hermes but people will not know the provenance. I also really like this slim interior pocket it has to keep your phone separated from the rest of your belongings — brilliant — as well as the strap that enables you to wear it a few different lengths and ways.
+Suzie Kondi velour set! Worn at least 4x this week, including on my drive back from Perry Cabin and every morning I spent there, too. Super comfortable but somehow elevated and different. They have great new fall/seasonal colors. Watching like a hawk for a BFCM promotion…would definitely but a second pair!
+These cozy Ugg mocs! Like a hug for the foot. Cozy but have a rubber sole — can be worn outdoors.
+Continue to be impressed by this soccer mom / baseball mom bag. Zips closed, has lots of clever compartments and zippered pockets (LOVE the one that is big enough to hold your cell and can be accessed from outside of the main chamber/interior), is water-resistant, weighs nothing, looks cool. HOLDS EVERYTHING.
Thursday Hygge.
I think I wore this set 4x this week. So cozy and perfect for the season. I love the on-trend harem pant silhouette and the snug/shrunken sweatshirt style! And of course the Marea birdseye sherpa vest, which has been a top seller lately and is back available for pre-order!

Country Music!
Ordered up this outfit for a country music concert we’re planning to take in and — wow! The seaming on this brown denim dress — which is currently on significant sale! — is spectacularly flattering. I styled with the detached scarf from this sweater I’ve been yapping about. A great look for less for GIR. I styled this the first day I received my Dash bag and wow is she perfect.
