16 Chic Swimsuits for Spring Break 2026 (and Summer Beyond).

By: Jen Shoop

This spring, I’m seeing lots of fun color blocking, sweetheart necklines, and bold colors on swimsuits from brands I absolutely love and trust, and a new aspirational swimwear line I have set my sights on: Eres. I’ve heard their suits are, bar none, the best, and want to experience for myself. (I noticed recently that Julia Amory often styles her pareos and husband shirts over these iconic suits — see here and here.) I first discovered these on a friend of mine who looked like a Botticelli goddess emerging from the pool in one — such a great, flattering, chic silhouette!

Anyhow, below, 16 of my favorite swimsuits I am dreaming of wearing in warmer weather —

Swimsuits for spring break 2026.

SKY BLUE ONE-PIECE // FAVORITE ONE PIECE // CHIC GREEN // FLORAL PRINT // HILL HOUSE SET // HUNZA G

01. My all-time favorite one-piece (limited edition color here).

02. The aforementioned iconic Eres (in navy here and look for less here). I had been hoping to find one in pastel pink but those don’t seem to exist. Now I’m smitten with the kiwi green above.

03. This smocked hot pink Hunza G. I have several Hunza suits (another one linked below) and I have to say I think the Pamela is the most flattering on me with those thin straps! Just love it.

04. Love this silhouette.

05. Classic swimsuit in a variety of colors. I own this in red and I love that she’s full-coverage but can be a tiny bit sexier depending on how many of the buttons you do/undo. (Landon likes this suit.)

06. Stunning floral print.

07. This scalloped detail and low back (this colorway is on sale!).

08. Chic sky blue with a sweetheart neckline.

09. Staud suit with a fab horse motif.

10. Ultra-flattering Hill House bikini set. I have to say, HHH swim is a revelation. I find their suits among the most flattering, comfortable, and thoughtfully-designed across dozens of brands I’ve tried. These tend to run TTS, be in a really comfortable material (non-constricting), and have a good amount of coverage without feeling too buttoned-up thanks to playful details and prints.

11. Fun cut-out on this suit! Love.

12. Dreaming of poolside stripes.

13. Sweet tie straps on this top.

14. This colorblocking is so chic.

15. These one-pieces are magically flattering! This brand has lots of different styles that you can shop based on “solution” (I’m not sure I love that word, but — you know, whether you want to dial up or down a certain feature!), but this is their core style and she’s SO GOOD in this fabulous fire engine red. I own this exact style and I often get comments on it. The color and silhouette are very va-va-voom but you still feel well-covered.

16. The most comfortable swimsuit brand I own. In-depth review on this brand here!

WHOA the Eres suit — I’m still picking my jaw up off the floor because the price of that is like a car payment! At that price I expect it would enable me swim like Katie Ledecky or to hold my breath underwater for extended periods to frolic with wild dolphins. Only half-kidding, LOL, because I love to swim and the latter is on my bucket list 😉

But thank you for balancing it out with more reasonably priced items in this round-up! I feel that swimsuits is one of those categories for which I cannot bring myself to shell out more than say, J.Crew prices. Swimsuits can easily snag on seashells/coral, get discolored by chlorine/sunscreen, etc. I once ordered a Marysia, tried it on, felt “meh” about it and returned it as it didn’t feel worth the cost to me. Honest question to the Magpie community: do you all actually SWIM in designer suits? Or is it more for lounging, by-the-pool-but-not-IN-the-pool attire? Or is the fabric really that much better that it withstands the elements better than the typical retail brands? Am I missing something?
