A smattering of fashion finds that are capturing my attention —
01. These Chan Luu shorts (and Chan Luu in general; photo above all Chan Luu…!) I mentioned them on Saturday but I just think they are the coolest and most unique shorts style I’ve seen. Fashion-forward, fashion-heavy. I’d probably pair with a simple button down and flat sandals. I’m very into Chan Luu in general right now — this tassel-trim skirt is beyond, and I love the tassel jewelry and sheer overlay pieces too. The photography and styling is also next-level across the board: the photo above looks like something from Chanel or another prestige design house! (On the tassel front: did anyone else LOVE Meryl Streep wearing that dramatic Dries Van Noten tassel jacket in DWP2? LOVE.)
02. Speaking of white button downs, I did order this after reading such rave reviews (the blue is currently sold out but white is still available in small quantities). I’m obsessed with the face-framing stand collar. Tuckernuck has a similar style for a little less that they cannot keep in stock — just recently restocked though!
03. This mini tunic dress, worn as a cover-up, or paired with a big Lizzie Fortunato necklace or a stack of her bracelets for a transition to lunch.
04. Freda Salvador’s summer edition pieces: these canvas striped flats or boat shoes (!!!), or the mesh version of their popular fishermen sandals.
05. Everything Mirth is putting out I’m loving. This plaid mini — ! I imagined it with Birkenstocks on a lake visit.
06. This short sleeved blazer absolutely oozes elegance. Pair with the matching shorts for a TKO.
07. A superior cardigan in every way, now available in punchy summer colors. I know I rave constantly about Alice Walk but — their attention to detail! These are just such fantastic knits and you’ll know the minute you put them on your body: they just feel good on. The fit is always so thoughtful — body-skimming, cut beautifully — and the quality of the cashmere is next level.
08. My top nomination for family portraits this summer: a caftan from Asha. Each one prettier than the next, and so many gorgeous color combinations! Some of them are 20% off here. I’m also kind of obsessed with their new separates; this peach set FLEW, selling out immediately, but this mini set in charming peony pink is still available for preorder.
09. Did everyone see Anne Hathaway’s character wearing TWP’s Next Ex shirt in DWP2 (see here)?! LOVE! She expertly showcased that shirt’s chic cut, especially the button detail at the elbow. I’m planning on wearing mine tomorrow — totally inspired by her. I love this new yellow option but the blue stripe is a forever piece / sure thing in terms of wearability.
10. A simple, slightly sexy, fashion-conscious white dress, the kind of understated piece that leaves an outsized impression. Perfect with bare feet, loose locks, a glass of rose, low music! It all fits!
