What I Want to Be Wearing in New York City.

Current outfit inspo for my new New York City ‘hood:

What I Want to Wear to Tea at Bergdorf’s

I’m going to a baby shower at Bergdorf’s in NYC in a few weeks and am obsessing over this affordable little number ($59), which I’d love to pair with a bow-topped flat like this (Tory Burch, $428) — or, really, any of these — for the occasion.

Minimagpie and I have an exciting few weeks ahead exploring our new neighborhood.  I’m planning on long daily walks through Central Park and all around the new hood.  It’s been weirdly warm so far this year in NYC but I’m guessing temps will be dropping soon.  Below, my fall outfit wishlist: this yummy cashmere blend cardigan ($198), these cropped jeans ($240 — I hear such good things about the brand ReDone), and these forest green flats ($228), finished with this Gucci bag ($2,390 — #covet).

…at some as-yet-unknown-to-me hip restaurant that my bestie refers my way: this belted sweater ($128), jeans ($175), and these Aquazzuras ($795).

But really, who are we kidding?  Right now I’m writing this while perched on a moving box and am fairly certain I’ll be wearing the same pair of jeans and the same three sweaters for the next month straight.  So, what I really want to wear is the Monrow outfit I dreamed about here (see pick no. 1).

Also, I’m really into this.

  1. Those Tory Burch flats are everything — and I never find myself gravitating towards TB! I love them!
