Having spent a week in hotels in London, I’ve been reflecting on little upgrades for my home that might echo the feeling of luxury and comfort I’ve been enjoying here. (Will share a full rundown on everything London related next week, but the TL;DR is that we absolutely loved both The Goring, seen above, and Beaverbrook Town House. Very different experiences but super cool, London-authentic, and chic chic chic! The former is more of a traditional experience with a grand dining room and elegant lobby, seen above; the latter is more design-forward, heavy on funky patterns and prints. We really lucked out with the family room option at Beaverbrook — two rooms that adjoin in a little foyer area and loads of space in both rooms. Both have little lounging areas and gratis mini bars with snacks and sodas that have been excellent for tired little children! But the staff and overall feeling of hospitality at The Goring was beyond special. More to come…!)
A few luxury-grade additions that you might consider for your home —

ROBE // ROOM SPRAY // LOTION DISPENSER // SLIPPERS // QTIP HOLDER // PILLOW
01. Cashmere musk hand soap — absolutely divine. Have been raving about this a lot I know but it just smells so luxurious.
02. Turkish cotton bath mats. I actually ordered these for my kids’ bathroom but then stole for my own — divinely plush.
03. These towels are the perfect thick plush material.
04. Spa-esque teak bench. Why be uncomfortable while shaving?
05. What’s more luxe than a towel warmer?! Both of our London hotels have had them and I’m swooning over the thought of adding one in my own bathroom.
06. This rain shower head! Are rain shower heads passe? I feel like I saw something online about this but I couldn’t disagree more. Bring on the rain lol.
07. These bamboo face towels strike me as a thoughtful purchase for something specific. Do you know when you’re staying in a hotel / staying with a friend and you don’t want to get any makeup on their towels? I’m going to order these to pack in my bag for this use case and then keep some stocked in the guest bathroom at our home too!
08. Polished nickel bathroom faucet. I’ve been paying attention to the hardware here and this is very much the vibe here in London.
09. Minimalist robe hook. Chic chic chic.
10. This marbled vanity tray to corral cosmetics.
12. Spa-grade robe.
13. This qtip holder. Everything in its place!
14. Buttery soft hotel-esque sheets.
15. These slippers.
16. Double-embroidered percale sham.
17. This room spray!
18. Bathtub caddy.
19. This elegant tub hardware. GORGEOUS. A kit just like this in our Beaverbrook bath tub!
