Today, organizing a few of my favorite “inspired by” shoe finds alongside their higher end counterparts. Sometimes investing in the lower-end option enables you to test a short-lived trend, or see how much wear you really get out of something before contemplating an upgrade. Other times, you just fall in love with the concept! Most of these are great “riffs on” (versus copies of) one another. 01. These Sam Edelman knotted flats are a dead-ringer for these Le Monde Beryl flats.
02. These in leopard print draw to mind Alaïa’s crossover leopard flats, popular with the street style set.
03. A Magpie reader bestseller the past few weeks: this $35 score are a perfect look for less for my Staud crochet flats (seen above).
04. These Quince woven square toe flats remind me so much of my Freda Salvador flats. Love Quince’s new cherry blossom pink color in these! The Fredas are SUPER comfortable, FWIW.
05. Jeffrey Campbell jelly flip flops (more here) are a perfect “inspired-by” find for these trendy Christopher Esber flip flops.
06. I always reach for these Loeffler Randall leather sandals — get the look for $115.
08. This ankle wrap sandal bears major Margaux influence.
09. These chic braided ballet flats give me Prada vibes.
10. These are under $100 and look just like these Gabriela Hearst fisherman sandal (in-between price point: these chic Freda Salvadors — I also own and love these! Supremely comfortable!).
11. Love my Veronica Beard knit sneakers, but these are a fab look for less.
