Reformed.

By: Jen Shoop

Guys.

You guys.

Do you know about the brand Reformation?!  If not, you should, STAT.  I first discovered them while months-deep in another blogger’s Instagrits.  I can’t find the snap now, but the dress was BANANAS and I instantly visited Reformation to check out their wares.  And OMG.

YAS, YAS, YAS.

And my way more in-the-know fashionista sister tells me that they are the darling of the fashion scene because they use “surplus fabric in the industry, so no fabric waste” and they are committed to fair wages for their factories.  In her words, “they are major.”  I had to snap up at the cherry bomb red Escala dress (shown above, $278) but I seriously and deeply thought about this velvet wrap dress ($278).  Yes, velvet.  Velvet guys.  Velvet.  It’s back and it’s rad and I must have this dress, too.  I also die over this wrap coat ($288) and this classic black wrap ($178).  Love the low v.

This all makes me very, very, very excited for holiday festivities.  Channel the look / contemplate alternatives with the following:

+KJL crystal earrings ($150);

+Fur stole ($264);

+Bold red dress (Halston Heritage, $395);

+Classic Carrie Bradshaw Manolo Blahniks ($965);

+And, why not?  A custom Edie Parker clutch ($1,795).  A girl can dream. What a gift!

A few other top picks for holiday wear:

+Love this little cape dress — and you can’t beat the price ($105).  I love it with a bold earring, a bold red lip, and straight-forward black pumps.

+I just snagged this gorgiiiiine lace dress from Cynthia Rowley ($388).  I’m not normally a purple fan but the fit, the style, the elegance, OMG.

+First, love the hunter green color ($350).  Second, the back!  All-biz in the front, party in the back.

+This Self-Portrait dress ($480) has been released a few seasons in a row and it’s no surprise why.  It’s elegant, sexy, and playful at the same time.

+I can’t stop ogling at this neon pink caped gown ($318).  Wut.  Also on sale in a few sizes/colors here for $196.

+A little lace lovely ($115) for a great price.

+There’s something gem-like about this Ronny Kobo find ($428).

+This burgundy lace find is a winner — love the open back and the price ($78).
