Non-Blurred Lines.

This striped dress stopped me in my tracks ($81):

There’s something very Missoni about it — something very high-end and sophisticated in a European way.  It must be mine.  I love the texture, the colors, the unexpected length, the unusual color.  Done and done.

But then, I’ve rarely met a stripe I don’t like.  A few other gorgeous picks:

+A midi-length striped tee dress ($95).  The midi length is the new new.  It feels fresh, chic, unharried in a way.  Sort of: “Hey guys, I’m doing me.”

+I’m curious about Ronny Kobo’s stuff.  There’s something dishearteningly Kardashian about their styles — sort of Herve-Leger-in-training (no offense, but not a big fan over here) — but then again, there’s something intriguing and sexy about them.  This dress ($398) has me puzzling: “Will I or won’t I?”

+This $90 TopShop lovely channels the Ronny Kobo style above for a fraction of the price.  Hence, easier to say “I will” to this one.

+This is the kind of understated chic thing ($198, Tibi) that my New Yorker friends would rock out with black ankle booties and leave me wishlisting for.

+This knit midi dress (Anthro, $148) with its gradated stripes is oh-so-chic.

+This striped shift looks much higher end than it is ($118).  The colors are fresh.

+Oh, Missoni, how I love thee.  Especially when your dresses are on sale — like this one in fiery red ($387).

+At the high end of the spectrum, HOLY MOLY — this J. Mendel stunner is the stuff of dreams (on sale for $1,400).

+Rad striped poncho ($94 — extra 60% off as of day of authorship!).

+I love the casual femininity of this striped linen top (RedValentino, on sale for $213).  This striped linen cami achieves a similar effect (on sale for $54), as does this long-sleeved peasant top ($132).

+This sweater ($168).  OMG.  Yes.
