PAJAMAS // FUN STICKERS // LITTLE GHOST BOOK // CUTE PUMPKIN DRESS // TREAT BAGS // GHOST DECOR
If you can believe it, brands are preparing to launch Christmas pajamas in the coming weeks (!), but let’s focus on the month ahead: October! I just gave my children Halloween pajamas so they have a full month of wear leading up to the actual holiday, and purchased a couple of little Halloween surprises for them. Below, all my favorite finds —
01. I got my children these jammies and these from Petite Plume. Also love these, these, and these. And these are $11 and adorable!
02. My daughter loves these sticker books still — such a fun holiday activity.
03. Fun stickers from Maisonette.
04. Candy corn cars — so adorable they double as decor!
05. I make the kids pumpkin waffles using this iron every year! Just pick up a box of pumpkin spiced pancake mix.
06. How cute is this Little Ghost children’s book?!
07. Another ghost book find.
08. Darling pumpkin dress with collar.
09. Light-up ghost decorations!
10. Fun costume wand that will have legs post-Halloween.
11. Personalized treat bags here and here. Or use one of these to wrap around a basket you already have.
12. This fair isle pumpkin sweater — obsessed.
13. These mini Halloween hair clips are such a cute accessory for school days.
14. Sugarfina’s candy shop set. I personally want this.
15. Halloween sour skittles to pass out to trick-or-treaters!
16. Fun hosting plates.
17. Cutest little gift tags. More here and here.
My kids were decisive on their costumes this year — mini wants to be Bluey and micro wants to be Bingo. I got their costumes at Target — done deal! I already ordered because these are the kinds of things that sell out with no notice. A few other sources for cute costumes for younger kids who are more malleable in their preferences:
+Zara alien – I’m obsessed with this!
+Octopus!
P.S. Recent book review: God of the Woods by Liz Moore.

My 13 year old will be a hot dog again. We bought him a costume at Target in 2020 the day before Halloween for 5 dollars just to wear around the day of halloween since there wasn’t trick or treating in our neighborhood. since then he and his friends(who have since acquired the same hot dog get up from Target) wear the same costume each year. they look ridiculous (and super cute) and the whole neighborhood is on the look out to see a whole pack of hot dogs roaming with their massive bags of candy.
I so miss the days of picking his costume out and planning something fun for him but i love that he has made this tradition with his friends and it doesn’t hurt that it’s so easy!
We’ll see what HS has in store next year but for now i’ll take this fun Halloween moment and soak it in.
OMG! I love the pack of hot dogs! So cute. Also taking notes from your admirable “let me soak this up right now” perspective :). Thanks for sharing.
xx
My son will be wearing his pajamas as his costume! Either buzz or woody, with the addition of either a purple cagoule or a brown cowboy hat. They’re from Target. My daughter will be wearing a fleece lion suit from H&M, though odds are good she will simply refuse.I do try to keep it to things they can get a lot of wear of since our place is so small! He wore last year’s buzz lightyear pjs into the ground. I would love to have him be Olaf or a skunk, but neither of my kids is old enough to keep headpieces or even hoods on reliably.
Love this – easy and reusable!! xx
