Strongly recommend having a sweatshirt custom-embroidered with something you’re proud of (in my case, Magpie!). Or have it done up with an inside joke, or a nickname! Think Gigi or Nana for a new grandmother, or “Eldest Sister,” or — one of my friends said that all the cousins in his family have numbers that correspond to the sibling’s family and then the birth order in the family, i.e. he’s 3.1 because he’s the first born son (.1) to the third child in his dad’s family.
Anyhow, I am adoring my new marigold-colored Magpie sweatshirt and will wear both casually, as seen above, with jeans (<< these remain my favorites of all time I think) and a tee and layered over button-downs, too. (Did anyone else order this viral $40 button-down?! Mine just arrived and it is incredible in terms of quality and its chic stand collar!)

08. Waffle knit pullover — sort of a sweatshirt, sort of not, but I wear it as sweatshirt all the time!
09. Ice blue crew neck — this brand specializes in petite frames. I have two of these and love them when I want a snug, slim, polished fit.
10. Reverse fleece crewneck sweatshirt. The texture on this is super cool. My daughter and I have matching ones. Writing out this list, I realize how often I wear a sweatshirt!
