Sweater Weather.

By: Jen Shoop

It’s coming — everyone’s favorite two or three weeks of the year, when you can get by without a coat but appreciate the warmth of a good sweater. I shared a few of my favorite sweaters for this season in this recent post, but thought I’d share a roundup of a few other beauties I’ve come across since:

THIS $64 STEAL

THIS FITTED BUT CHUNKY KNIT

THIS DRAMATIC SITUATION

THIS STUNNING DEMYLEE (LITERALLY THE PRETTIEST COLOR EVER)

THIS PRETTY OPEN WEAVE (INTO THE GREEN THIS SEASON, PER THIS POST)

THIS SHORT-SLEEVED PUFF-SHOULDERED SWEATER (PERFECTION FOR TUCKING INTO HIGH-WAISTED JEANS OR SKIRTS)

THIS EPIC ISABEL MARANT (VIBE FOR LESS WITH THIS)

CHUNKY CARDIGANS ARE HAVING A MAJOR MOMENT RIGHT NOW; LOVE THIS (THANKS M.K.), THIS, AND THIS

THIS IS STUNNING, THOUGH WHAT BRA DOES ONE WEAR WITH IT? HM.

STARK WHITE ARAN KNIT FOR THE BOLD

P.S. Who would make the cut in your personal canon?

P.P.S. Having major problems deciding on a new diaper bag. (The comments were super informative.) Late entrants: saw a mom at my school wearing this bag and it was enormous, chic, and seemingly practical; curious about the dimensions of this. A girlfriend also wrote in to tell me that all her friends swear by this Dagne Dover as a diaper bag. It’s not my style but I’ve now noticed it everywhere…

P.P.P.S. People are raving over the beauty and poetry of this book. Added to my tsundoku

  1. I looooove sweater season! That Demylee turtleneck is so gorgeous, and so is the Marant mock-neck … and, of course, the Everlane cardigan that I’m still eyeing. I just saw that it’s in stock at the Williamsburg store and I’m in New York this week … might have to make a special trip!! xx

    1. Yes! I’m feeling like I need to make some in-person pit-stops this fall, too, especially on the denim front. Desperate to try on Moussy in-person. xx
