Fall is probably my favorite season for styling little boys. The knits! The cords! The little striped tees and chore jackets! Gah. Above: one of my favorite photos of Hill, two years ago, wearing a fair isle duck sweater that Little English still releases in different colors each year. Adorable. I have zero regrets about dressing my kids like little dolls for the first four years of their lives. I look back at old photos of them via my Aura digital frame (which we keep in our kitchen, and which LOVE — I am constantly pausing what I’m doing and getting lost in the happiest memories!) and think: “I’m so glad you did that.” Ha. It just brings me so much joy to see their tiny faces in the cutest little clothes! Fast forward to now, when Emory has an exacting eye and prefers baggy hoodies every day of the week and twice on Tuesday. I love this for her, and am supporting her sartorial preferences fully, but I do miss the days of smocked dresses and hairbows…
