I was just chatting with a friend about a date night she went on with her husband. Owing to logistics, they’d arrived at the restaurant separately, and we talked about how surprisingly romantic that situation can feel. You know, not to see one another getting ready, worrying about parking, etc — just meeting at the bar like the olden days, when you were falling in love? What other secrets and tips do you have for dating your spouse? We talked about this awhile ago here, but re-upping the conversation in case you. missed it or have new additions.
Meanwhile, I’ve put together some pretty, romantic outfits for dates below —

We actually love to drop the kids off with my MIL first and then get ready together! Something about being in each other’s space, choosing outfits and perfume and skincare, and then walking together holding hands instead of carrying littles or pushing the stroller! Sometimes we’ll have a little apéro at home before we meet our friends. But then again, we get very little alone time, that may all change when the kids are both in school.
This is so romantic in its own way too!! xx
