Mini will be attending a few day camps this summer and it dawned on me that I might need to stock up on things besides smocked dresses – ha. Below, some cute athletic + camp-appropriate outfits for littles! I did want to specifically call out these girls athletic shorts from Funtasia Too, which are a best-seller and tend to sell out in sizes quickly!

  1. It’s the cutest look for little boys! Have you tried shorts from Childhoods Clothing? Their “shorties” and “retro shorts” have a camp/retro gym look to them and are so so so soft. I like their ringer tees as well!

    1. Oh so CUTE! I love!! They seem to be sold out in a ton of the ringer tees in my son’s size but will keep checking back…

      xx

  2. I LOVE a camp aesthetic and all of these picks! Dying over the retro trimmed 3 pack shorts you linked. Perfect for daycare backup outfits for summer (somehow our daycare requires four full outfits?!?!?).

My ideal wardrobe is the 1997 version of The Parent Trap. The camp looks + looks from Meredith and Elizabeth James? Perfect.

    1. OMG YES. I so agree with this. I full-on dressed Hill as though he were a running coach from 1982 all last summer — he had a few pairs of those Petits Vilains shorts, Lacoste polos, and tube socks pulled up. YES.

Also, re: Parent Trap — is there anyone more villainous than Meredith Blake in that movie? She will forever crop up as the ultimate villain, right next to Maleficent, for me.

      xx
