Hi loves.  I’m sorry I’ve been incommunicado this week after several weeks of blog-writing commitment.  We had some dear friends come visit over the weekend, celebrated our 6-year anniversary, and tried to compress a full week of work into Monday and Tuesday of this week so we can enjoy the rest of the week in DC for a family reunion.  So, here’s a little humpday teaser to tide us over until I’m back to blogging next week.

I’m centering this post around a couple of heavily chic looks spotted on Pinterest: yes, yes, and yes.

Ways to channel these looks…

+This khaki-colored button down ($69) channels the utilitarian chic of the first look.  Pair with a midi or skinny jeans for a go-to fall look.

+Love the sexy OTS dress shown second.  I know several of you are SO OVER the OTS vibe, and I’m sure it will be a flash in the pan out the door by next summer.  But before we get there — I have to say that Neiman’s sale has some EPIC finds right now, including this DVF, marked WAY down and in the breeziest of prints and this N Nicholas style.  For the reluctant shoulder-barer, this Missoni dress with the gorgeous neckline is a great compromise, and I cannot believe the bargain on it!

+Also, what do we think about those dramatic oversized gold hoops?!  Hello.  So unexpected and so sexy.  Get the look with these or these.  But make sure the rest of the look is paired down and simple, because it’s a lot of look.

+In the third look, Olivia’s all white look had me scanning my closet for a way to recreate.  It also inspired me to take a second, third, and fourth look at this stunning all white evening gown, also on ridic sale at Neiman’s.  LOVE the drama!!!

+I love a striped tee-dress.  This J. Crew style looks so comfortable with a simple pair of slides.  I’ve also seen a few bloggers rock this Sonnet James style.

+Such a sweet, ruffled dress.

+This scarf-print blouse ($49) is so perfect for fall.

+Love this bomber in the army green color ($89).  So chic over a simple black dress or with some cropped black pants — I like the idea of pairing it with a slightly dressier rest of the outfit.
