Two of my absolute favorite brands launched holiday promotions yesterday: Doen (up to 70% off) and Veronica Beard (extra 30% off sale).
Sale Highlights at Doen.
+Your future (summer) self will appreciate you for picking up this gingham top, this airy LWD (perfect for maternity photos / newborn photos OR family photos for that airy, barefoot goddess moment), and my beloved Sebastiane skirt in a chic blue plaid.
+If you’re shopping for current-season delights: this cranberry red dress is truly perfect, and I own and love this burgundy lace number (somehow under $100?). And now is a good time to snag investment-worthy knits, too.
Sale Highlights at Veronica Beard.
Extra 30% off sale with code THANKS2025. This is the deepest “extra discount” they’ve ever offered!
+I always recommend buying their blazers and jackets during this promotion. These are absolutely gorgeous pieces — well-tailored, insanely high quality — and you’ll find yourself reaching for them over and over. They are outfit makers! I love this nubby Brisa style ($230 with code), and I own and love this plaid Orrin style. The silhouette is incredibly chic — long-lines but with a clever, waist-narrowing cutaway at the belt. And the fact that its collarless makes it read contemporary despite its traditional suiting plaid. SO good.
+I know several of you have this vest (I own in pink) — it is impossibly chic. Throw on with wide leg jeans for instant polish. Can also be layered over a midi skirt.
+Elegant, low-profiled sneakers in chocolate brown with contrast red laces! SO GOOD. These are $126 with code…! Dolce Vita prices for designer tootsies!
+Finally, a great patterned blouse for $114. I’m always looking for tops like this to pair with jeans when I want to look a little more interesting / pulled together for cocktails or coffee with a friend.
Other Just-Launched Sales to Know about.
+Hotel Lobby candles! I burn this all Christmas season long. They also just restocked Holiday in New York, which is a new scent from this year, and I’ve been burning it in my studio since the beginning of November! It’s not as on-the-nose Christmas as their signature holiday scent. It’s velvet-y, spice-y, sexy!
+Appointed notebooks, 30% off! I’m using this sale to stock up for myself for the year.
+Ann Mashburn — up to 25% off depending on spend. This is their only sitewide sale of the year. I have two of their classic shirtdresses and they are built to last, and work whether you’re 20 or 80. I also know people love their kick flare cords and they always have a couple of insanely chic holiday pieces to wear for evening, like this pencil skirt.
+Westman Atelier – 20% off. I’d use this to snag their gift bundles (already discounted via the bundle) at a further discount for gifts. Like this blush set?!
P.S. Things we should never postpone.

I have yet to own an Ann Mashburn shirtdress — they look so classic! I love love love shirtdresses and own from a variety of brands — such a great year-round staple, can dress up or down, and as you said perfect for any age — which for me makes them absolutely worth the money. However, I always have trouble with the right layers/outerwear in the colder seasons. I feel like it all depends on the silhouette of the shirtdress (full skirt vs not). Do you have any tips for this, as a fellow petite? Thank you so much!
I so hear you – I usually wear a cropped jacket or cardigan-jacket with this style of dress. I feel like anything longer looks weird / chops up the dress / has too much hem hanging out. I’d go for like a textured sweater jacket that hits at hip or a little faux fur situation!
xx
Thank you for these tips, Jen! I think I’ll have to play around with what’s in my closet. I think the other challenge I have is whether the dress is collared or not, and how that goes with the neckline of the outerwear. Ooh faux fur — I didn’t think of that!!
Yay! Let me know if you come up with anything good 🙂
