02. Buck Mason pima long sleeves. Thin and body-hugging. Great for beneath a chunky knit.
03. The best value: these $24 ultra-soft, fitted long sleeves. I LOVE the fit of this style. I also find it works just as well with athleisure as it does with slightly dressier styles.
04. Similar, but pricier: these Faherty “freestyle layering” crews look deeply promising. Selling fast in white.
05. Soldout — a bit boxier / looser fit. Looks great with a sweater around shoulders or tied at waist! Use code JENSHOOP. These look like a great look for less.
06. I do wear these slightly sexy whipped henleys during the day, too! Peak comfort. I layer over a bralette. Ideal when paired with a super wide leg jean — currently wearing with these (also seen above) as I write! I’m in my comfort element!
07. If you like the idea of the Negative henley but it’s maybe too sexy for day / mixed company, try one of these. Currently on sale!
08. Different silhouette: love the three-quarter length sleeves and soft heather color of this style. The pima cotton this company uses is next level good.

10. I’m partial to henleys — this one is a really good one. Soft with a nice deep plaquet.
11. Monrow ribbed — sometimes you just want a little texture contrast!
12. And if you’re a short-sleeve-all-year-round gal, try the Margo (love the crew collar — heavier weight; J. Crew has a great look for less for this style), the SoldOut (longer, with longer sleeves; use code jenshoop), or the Buck Mason (shrunken fit). A great budget buy: Uniqlo! I own multiples of each of these styles!
If you’re looking for something with a little more contrast/interest, try a patterned turtleneck! I love a turtleneck beneath a shirtdress, cardigan, or chunky turtleneck knit! Consider:
