I love the white-dress-and-gold-hoops look as well! For hoops, I love (and own) Melissa Joy Manning’s 1″ recycled gold hoops, which are a great gateway pair, if I do say so myself 🙂 I’ve been ogling some chunkier options lately, though!
Love these picks, btw, especially the Cult Gaia, the Joslin, and the Hunter Bell! All different, but each lovely in their own way. I have also loved the white gauze options from Xirena — highly recommend that label for carefree summer garb. Can’t wait until true LWD weather arrives in Boston!

Yay! Actually, I just saw some Xirena dresses are on sale at Shopbop. I’ve been eyeing that brand ever since my cousin wore their dresses after the pool last summer. They looked like such a great material!
Thanks for the MJM hoop suggestion, too!

Oh, the LWD… how do I love thee?
…Despite the impracticality of it all with a toddler. But I have you to thank for the dish soap trick for stain removal! This has worked better than any stain remover I’ve tried.
That Joslin dress is too, TOO good!
But I need to ask: curious as to why you haven’t worn gold hoops? I look to you as an earring maven! Gold hoops are so classic and timeless, I think! Finding the right size hoops for my small face was key for me.
Hi Mia – I know, I am struggling with LWDs at the moment because of the ages of my children. Not a single morning goes by when Hill does not have yogurt smeared all over his face, hair, hands. (We have yogurt EVERY morning in this house, and it’s good for the gut, bad for the LWD — ha.)
I have NO idea why I haven’t worn hoops. Literally no clue. Just always gravitated towards studs or enormous statements. I want to try!
