The holidays are approaching — woohoo! My favorite time of the year. We’re finally nearing a socially acceptable date to start (er admit we’ve already been) playing Christmas music.
First, how adorable are these Rifle Paper Company invitations from Paperless Post?!
A couple other beauts to set your turkey table:
+Monogrammed linen tablecloth (on sale for $39);
+Golden pheasants for a lovely tablescape ($39);
+We love our Staub Dutch oven (on sale for $280)…but check out the kitschy amazingness of this Martha Stewart home pumpkin casserole dish (on sale for $49);
+I love a festive placecard like this set, similar to the set shown below($6.75 for 10) — also check out the coordinating gift tags in case you want to send guests home with leftovers or a pumpkin baked good — or arrive bearing bottles of wine/treats;
+How amazing would it be to serve soup in these individually-sized pumpkin bowls (on sale for $6/each)?! Alternately, use these ceramic pumpkin-shaped placecard holders I found on Etsy ($6 each) — OR this Martha Stewart tureen (on sale for $54!);
+A bronze booze bucket (on sale for $34) — always great to have set up in the kitchen for easy guest access; Mr. Magpie and I love to serve sparkling wine pre-dinner, and my current favorite is Raventos i Blanc cava…delightful;
+Harvest wreath ($95)…also love this dried olive + eucalyptus style ($69);
+I HAD to have these leaf placemats (on sale for $20 for set of 4…too good):
Now, don’t forget to scour Etsy for some awesome finds. I mean, this ceramic turkey tray is only $15! (P.S., Also check out this affordable variation from Martha Stewart Home, on sale for $25.) And this ceramic turkey candy dish is only $12. And how about these ceramic turkeys ($48 for set) for your centerpiece?! I gotta brag: I managed to find this adorable set of vintage mini turkeys to use for my place settings. I also contemplated these brass candlestick holders ($22 for set). I’m pretty sure there are amazing ways to style these. Or, how about these brass pineapples ($112)?! OMG. Perhaps not seasonally appropriate, but I really, really want one for my bar area / as home decor year-round. Lastly, this fun little shop carries the cutest seasonal pencil sets ($12 per set):
