A couple of launches, promotions, and discoveries I’m loving right now:
01. Doen’s Fall Drop Two today at 11 AM EST! They sent me an advanced lookbook and I’m swooning over their tartan Seraphine dress. Already thinking ahead to holiday dressing!

02. Saks Friends + Family sale has launched – 25% off current season pieces from a range of great brands. The sale is so huge that it’s almost like drinking from a fire hose so I recommend looking for your favorite brands — Mother, Staud, Veronica Beard, Agolde — to see if any of the items on your fall wishlist are included. I have to spotlight a few great finds included in the promotion: Dehanche Hollyhock belts, RL cableknit sweater, this bandana print quilted jacket from Max Mara, this Staud sweater dress, this Sandro chore jacket, a gorgeous suede tall boot, my favorite pair of jeans from Mother, under $100 statement earrings, and a suede Little Liffner tote.

03. Random, but we’ve been through so many pairs of soccer cleats in our house and I think these are my favorite — they are pull-on (!!!), unisex (I regret all the pink pairs I bought Emory), and well-made. Did I mention they are pull-on? BTW, I’m sure everyone does this, but I always order multiple sizes via Zappos and just return the sizes that don’t fit once my kids have tried on at home. They make returns so easy! I do the same thing when buying them new sneakers what feels like every two months (!!! – not really but man, their feet grow quickly): multiple sizes of the same style and just return the non-fitting pairs. (I learned this lesson the hard way. I used to order one size, then try on, then exchange, and it was such a protracted process. I also used to take my kids to the store and we’d inevitably end up with fights over the light-up shoes they wanted, or they’d fall in love with the one hideous pair I was trying to avoid eye contact with. This enables me to curate a list of choices and have them delivered to us.) For sneakers, my kids are loving these On Cloudleaps (also pull-on) and I love that they offer such great colors in all of their styles. While you’re there, treat yourself to some new runners. I love my Brooks Glycerin Max running shoes — a Magpie reader rec. They are so lightweight but supportive. Took some adjustment after years and years of wearing the thinnest weight Nikes I could find — the Max has a major footprint / sort of feel like you’re running with foam blocks on your feet at first — but now I’m a convert. I want to try their lower profile Glycerin 22s next. Lastly, I still can’t sing enough praises about the Nike Metcons for strength training / gym / etc. They stabilize your ankle in a really important way if you’re doing anything like lunges, squats, etc. I hadn’t fully realized that running shoes are truly designed for forward motion and nothing else. They do not help if you’re making lateral moves! I love the Metcons so much I bought my husband a pair.

04. Rag + Bone Friends and Family Sale — 25% off sitewide, and they told me the code JEN15 will get us an extra 15% off. I know a lot of you are huge fans of this denim brand, as am I. Their Sofie wide legs (which I own in multiple washes) are probably in my top two or three pairs of favorite jeans. I also am in longtime committed relationship with their perfect striped Maxine button down, somehow discounted to $75 in a versatile tan stripe. On the outerwear front: I think this jacket would be a smart buy; it’s reversible! One side is quilted and the other more of a barn jacket. And I saw a mom at a back to school event wearing this gorgeous smart blazer — she looked like a million bucks in it! Lastly, if you’re a t-shirt snob, Rag + Bone knows what’s up with its basics. I love this tee.

05. A potpourri of discoveries and acquisitions I’m into:

LEFT: Finding Ferdinand “black” lip balm. Gorgeous, buildable, sheer color — it’s not as dark as it seems and the consistency is gorgeous. I love the witchy fall vibes I get any time I pull it out. They gave us 10% off! Use code JEN10.
RIGHT: Three favorite bras: ThirdLove Wireless 24/7 bra (OMG, the most comfortable but also provide good shape and support; my most-worn daily bra! Use code SHOOP10 for 10% off); Solid and Striped lace (padded) bra — so pretty; Negative whipped bralettes (the softest undergarments you’ll ever wear, but best for home or layered beneath a chunky sweater or something – they do not offer much support).

LEFT: The best affordable barrier cream. It’s $20 but feels very luxe.
RIGHT: Heavy duty lip moisture for cold weather. I keep this in my nightstand! Use code JENSEPT15 for 15% off.

LEFT: Soft Services buffing bar. I am totally obsessed with this bar — exfoliates skin and leaves everything soft and lustrous. Leaves you looking like the subject of a John Vermeer painting. You are a glowing pearl!
RIGHT: I raved about these folding chairs a fair amount here, but they are truly the MVP of sidelining sports this season. They weight nothing and pack up to tiny little parcels but are very sturdy.

ABOVE: I think I’ve worn these ballet flats 12/15 days since I took them out of the box. They are so comfortable, have the perfect (slightly elongated, modern) toe box, and come in the perfect tan suede. They feel right with everything from dresses to jeans.
06. Am loving all of the sweet notes and photos you’ve been sending of your Magpie x Mamey notepads and planners and habit trackers! I am absolutely loving mine and finding them helpful for sifting through the noise and prioritizing during this busy season. I’ve already heard from several of you that you have incorporated the weekly planning pad as a part of your “Sunday reset” process to think ahead to what’s coming and identify just the important stuff.

07. Elemis Friends + Family Sale — 25% off sitewide and a gift with orders over $135. You know my thoughts on their cleaNsing balm. Couldn’t live without it! I also like these dynamic resurfacing pads when my skin is feeling clogged/upset. I know this is a little TMI but you know when you have a recovering blemish and there’s dry/dead skin in that area / skin feels uneven? This exfoliates all of that away and leaves skin feeling fresh again.
P.S. How do you reset for the week?
P.P.S. The whole sky is yours.
P.P.P.S. The center of the universe.
