One of the most common shopping requests I get is whether I can track down a Mason Pearson brush on sale. I am always scouting, and I found a compelling promotion for you to consider: Neiman Marcus is offering $50 off any purchase of $200. You can buy the brush and my cherished Cle de Peau concealer (I think most of us agree that it’s the best concealer money can buy?) and add on something small, like a lip balm or a pair of Hanky Panky and get the lot for around $150. Not a bad deal! It’s like getting the concealer for $20, or the brush for $70, depending on how you look at it.
But there are also incredible prestige beauty deals elsewhere that I had to gush about —
+Chantecaille rosewater spray for 25% off.
+Tata Harper regenerating cleanser for 25% off.
+Augustinus Bader rich cream for 20% off.
+Kevyn Aucoin SSE for 25% off — this stuff is heavy-duty. It’s when you need The Big Guns, as in you have a ridiculously bad breakout, or you’re muddling your way through the sleepless newborn phase of life, or you are trying to hide a scar or something. It is thick and unctuous but it stays put and looks remarkably skin-like. I wore it once in front of my father-in-law and he commented that my skin looked like “porcelain” (!). This from a man who had never previously commented on my skin!
+Korres Wild Rose sleeping facial — j’adore j’adore j’adore. 25% off. The best night cream. Brightens and deeply hydrates.
+RMS Beauty Living Luminizer — 30% off!!! This stuff is incredible! I love that it is non-pigmented and it just glides on over anything. Use under brow, on cupid’s bow, at tip of nose, at inner corners of eye, etc.
+Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint — my favorite product for everyday lip color and care. 3 for $43!
P.S. Photo above taken — precariously — atop my beloved B&B waffle bed blanket, currently 25% off, but promotion ending tonight. Treat yourself.
I appreciate and completely trust your gift and product guides and have purchased many of your recommendations. Always so spot on. What do you recommend for lotion / cream to soothe chapped hands? I don’t mind emollient textures but find the more therapeutic ointments (Aquaphor) too thick and greasy.
Hi! My absolute favorite — scent, texture, results — is the fancy Aesop cream. It is pricey but man — it works, smells great, and feels like an indulgence in the middle of my day:

If that’s too pricey (which I appreciate), I would recommend testing LaRoche Posay. They used to make a foot cream that TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND. It was like having a professional pedicure every day. They sadly discontinued the foot cream, but I would totally test the hand cream if I weren’t in a committed relationship with Aesop:

I really trust this brand. I have used their fluid sunscreen for years and I find nearly anything they make to be of excellent quality and reasonable price.
Thank you also for the TREMENDOUS compliment of your trust!!!
