LOEWE-INSPIRED BAG // SUEDE SLIDES // CASHMERE TEE // SUNGLASSES // GIRLS’ DRESS

01. I just ordered this chic Loewe-inspired mini bag. (Compare with this!)

02. After sharing all those chic butter yellow finds last week, I had to have this cashmere tee. I really want to style with this Doen skirt and these flats.

03. How elegant is this collarless wool jacket? I love it in the unexpected military gray. I’d pair with a more casual jean (lighter wash) or ecru to balance out its formality.

04. Skims look for less. I find myself needing more fitted tops with all these barrel, gaucho, wide-leg jean silhouettes!

05. Just like Birk Boston clogs, but $69.

06. I picked up a few items for my daughter with my latest order! They’ve released a couple of dresses that remind me a lot of Hanna Andersson. First was this one — she loves cats and this is the kind of dress we can both agree on for Mass — and the second was this fun cherry print. I also found this two pack of hoodies, and this two pack of flared leggings. (Does anyone else’s daughter want to EXCLUSIVELY wear flared leggings and hoodies?)

07. I’m bummed that these boxer briefs in great prints were sold out in my son’s size! Will be waiting for a restock.

08. Mr. Magpie has really clipped into a fitness regimen this year. He has a lot of pieces from Rhone, but I noticed some simple fitness buys for men there that I’m contemplating adding to his collection since he now goes through his fitness clothes so quickly. This tee looks similar to the ones he has from Beyond Yoga, and these look similar to his Rhone shorts.

09. Have you seen Quince’s sunglasses selection?! So many on-trend / trend-forward shapes for $50 a pop. I like these, these, these.

P.S. More of my favorite Quince finds here.

P.P.S. My favorite winter moisturizers.

P.P.P.S. What are we reading right now?! Help! I need some new suggestions. My most recent book post here. Very polarizing!

I really have to try Quince, these all look amazing. Can you report back if the Hanna Anderson like dresses are similar in sensory ways – printing on the garment instead of tags, covered seaming etc. – my daughter is super sensitive to any suggestion of anything ‘scratchy’ so these would be a wonderful find if similar (send prayers for our search for a ‘non-scratchy’ communion dress!).
Reading wise, I have just started Absolution by Alice McDermott which I am enjoying so far after a long fallow period of reading a chapter and then ditching, no word of a lie, like 10 books because “I wasn’t feeling it” so hopefully this will help me clip back in and I can return to some of my earlier discards!

Jen, you mentioned that you were going to try the Quince sheets for your son’s room- do you like them so far? Soft and holding up well? Considering for my son’s new big boy bed being delivered next week!

The collarless wool jacket is a favorite! I bought the black and wore it on repeat in Paris over the holidays. Actually stocked up for the whole family for that trip – favorites were the boys’ cashmere joggers and hoodie for travel days, the men’s merino wool base layers (saved my husband for our 20 degree day in Disney), the cashmere snood, and the ribbed cashmere dress (bought a second color because my husband loved it so much).

Love Quince, especially that gray jacket!

Also, I just started reading Big Fan, and I’d be so curious what you think of it! It’s a novella length romance novel set in DC (!). I was somewhat familiar with the plot, as it’s been pretty buzzy, but as another DC area person, I was pleasantly surprised by the setting. It’s been a nice, breezy palate cleanser so far.
