I saw this street style snap and was tres inspired:

It actually reminded me of the Vivetta dress that continues to haunt my dreams.  My sis bought this and I’m so envious.

I’m going to go budget and snag this H+M top instead ($40).  It scratches a similar itch…

…but there’s always this Marc Jacobs take on the trend ($450 — also available in a cute midi skirt variation):

…and, I don’t normally shop here, but this NY+Company top (on sale for $25!) is spot-on.  Looks sorta chinoiserie-esque, kinda reminding me of all those gorgeous De Gournay inspired pieces I was raving about.
