Magpie Micropost: Sales on Regrettably Worth Its.

By: Jen Shoop

I hadn’t planned to cover Prime Day but I cannot believe that several of my most beloved regrettably worth it items are included in the promotions, and I had to share. These four items are SO good and are completely baked into the meat of my everyday living —

01. The Hatch Restore.

I haven’t written about this in awhile, but I continue to marvel over the change this little piece of bedside technology has made in my life. I now keep my phone in my studio at night — the Hatch subs in as a sound machine, nightlight, and alarm clock and prevents me from scrolling before bed. I feel like I’m living on a loose leash! Now the first thing I do when I wake up is think for a minute. Collect into the morning. Let myself slowly stretch into the day. Sometimes I’ll read. It’s glorious! I also love the gentle way it wakes you up with brightening light and sound. (I wrote more about this earlier in the summer, here and here! I still speak in exclamation points about it!)

They also have a Hatch for babies/toddlers that is included in the sale! I know a lot of people swear by this.

02. The Tonies Box.

I assume everyone has one of these screen-free audio players?! If you don’t, they are just the best and 50% off right now. Both of my children have and love these. My eight year old uses hers less now (prefers to put on white noise / piano music or an audiobook on her HomePod mini at bedtime) but she will still occasionally put one on in the middle of the night when she’s had a bad dream or can’t fall asleep. There was a full year in which she fell asleep to “The Grinch” Tonies. I kid you not! My son loves his, too. The best thing about them is that they have no screen and that little kids can control them on their own (the little figurines attach magnetically to the top and start playing automatically). It gives them a delightful little sense of autonomy in their lives! I think children as young as two can enjoy these.

P.S. More of my favorite details in my son’s room here!

03. Medicube Sheet Masks.

I’ve repurchased these (now almost 40% off) so many times — they are the absolute best for hydration and “glassy skin,” and the price is incredible even when not discounted. I know this is peak laziness, but I love that you can peel it off and not have to rinse or anything. I’ve given these away as party favors to friends — they are truly the best. I used this deal to stock up.

04. Dyson AirWrap.

I’m sorry, I can’t stop blabbing about this tool, which transformed my hair. I am now capable of achieving a bouncy blowout at home, where the ends curl under and stay put. I am a complete evangelist! Worth every penny at full price, but currently 25% off!

05. Goop GTox Scalp Scrub.

I especially lean on this salt scrub (currently 30% off!) during the summer months, when I want to fully scrub the sun, SPF, salt, sweat, chlorine, etc out of my hair, but it’s handy any time your hair needs a thorough, deep clean. I was using a protein shampoo last year that really weighed down my hair and I couldn’t quite get it cleansed afterward — this scrub rid me of all traces and let me reset.

All my favorite Goop products here, BTW!

P.S. A full list of our “regrettably worth it” items here, Chappywrap included. It’s blanket season!
