It has become a yearly ritual to dress the children in brand-new Christmas pajamas after dinner on Thanksgiving evening. It gives me the warmest hygge feeling. I typically go with Petite Plume for the occasion, and this year looks to be no different. (I’ve had a few Magpies and friends ask for suggestions for thoughtful gifts to give as godparents to babies around the holidays, and I always think a classic Petite Plume set is a special gift.). Hi! Would you say the petite plume runs true to size? Trying to decide between a 2 or 3 for my tall 2 year old. Thank you!
Hi! I would say they run a bit big because of the style. My children can almost always wear the pajamas for two seasons! In fact, my son, who is 2.5, can still squeeze into a 12-18 mo pair if you can believe it. They look like floodwaters but, point is — cut generously! Especially for nighties, which look adorable when a tiny bit on the short side anyway. Anyway, I would say take a 2 and he/she will still probably be able to wear next holiday season as a 3 y/o.
