Camel is just one of those colors that never goes out. It always looks more expensive than it is, and it goes with just about every color under the sun. {As I write this, I look down and see my winter uniform: camel-and-rose-gold Jimmy Choo flats (mine are now on sale for $282!), J. Brands, a white distressed long-sleeved tee (Enza Costa, $210), and my favorite fur vest (mine is actually by Adam by Adam Lippes but several years old — the similar one linked is Otte New York, $5,185). So yes…I practice what I preach!} Consider the following looks as well: crisp camel-leather-trimmed button down (J. Crew, $198), lucite-and-gold necklace (I d.i.e. — Tory Burch, $175), distressed denim, fab Gianvito Rossi heels ($726)
Finish with this AMAZING Sophie Hulme crossbody (must.own. — $407), possibly with these glam studded leather gloves (on sale for $158):
Meanwhile, if I hadn’t invested in a pair of Chanel espadrilles last summer, I would make a bee-line for these leather-toed ‘drilles (Loeffler Randall, $225) — so freakin chic! I’d pair with this boucle bomber (on sale for $149 plus an extra 40% off!), a striped slouchy tee ($25 — but P.S. I loved these slouchy dolman sleeve tees from Gap, now also on sale! I bought this in a bunch of different colors):
I mean. Those shoes. My God. So chic. You can get the look for less with this pair from TopShop, too. LOVE with this Chloe tote ($1,390):
Take things wayyy upscale (let’s dream, shall we?) with this bananas Lanvin mini (I’m imagining a fabulous member of the European aristocracy wearing this to her wedding reception — $4,350) with some ah-mazing earrings (Blu Bijoux, on ridiculous sale for $150!):
Pair with these sweet Louboutins ($795) —
— and this drool-worthy Nina Ricci bag ($1,667):
Oh-so-ladylike. Loveeee. The earrings above (still can’t believe the amazing deal!!!) reminded me of this amazing flower/lotus-leaf lighting fixture ($997). Do you love?!
Imagine it artfully hanging above your office, atop a pristine white armchair ($975) adorned with these fab embroidered pillows ($125 each):
Maybe an Avalon Hermes blanket ($1,300) top top it off?
Dayum.
