I don’t know if it’s a fluke but I’ve had at least six inquiries in the last week about children’s bedding! I guess we’re all in the mood for a bedding refresh. (I certainly was – just switched out my own bedding for gingham summer linens, seen here — currently 25% off!). I just recently updated my daughter’s bedding to this set from Gooselings (how adorable!? they even monogram the pillows!), and wanted to share a few other adorable finds I came across in the process.

STRIPED RIC-RAC BEDDING // KEEPSAKE DISH // CORDLESS FIXTURE // STUFFED ANIMAL // FLORAL SHEETS SET // HEARTS PILLOWCASES // NIGHTSTAND // GINGHAM DUVET // MONOGRAMMED PILLOW // GREEN GARDEN BEDDING

01. On my daughter’s bed above, this secret garden duvet with matching pillowcases.
02. Gooselings also carried toddler sized bedding which can be hard to find — this is for those cribs that convert to toddler beds. Love everything they carry.
03. We’ve had good luck at Company Store; we have these star print duvets and sheets on the bunk bed on our top floor.
04. Pehr also makes great, high-quality bedding. We have the gingham in my son’s room.
05. Quince sells a similar gingham value set in great colors here.
06. Lewis is my favorite for whimsical, nautical-themed patterns like this and this.
07. I had to have these “salty dog” print sheets for my son.
08. This blockprint floral is perfect for a girl’s room.
09. Schweitzer Home is known for its gorgeous “look for less” for D. Porthault’s iconic coeurs heart print pattern.
10. And of course I’ll always love Roller Rabbit’s hearts and monkeys.
11. Another girl’s bedroom option, this ric-rac stripe.
12. This set is on sale in several different patterns.
13. Love the hearts from Petite Plume!
14. And of course, I had to throw in a Hill House option! Also great for a guest room.
Sweet Bolsters + Throw Pillows.
Another simple way to approach this is to get a less expensive duvet and sheet set in a solid color and then offset with a bold, higher-end bolster or euro sham. Target’s house brand 400 count sheets are an excellent place to start; I bought a set as a backup for our primary bedroom and now use them interchangeably with higher end sets we have. FYI: this is a really good and inexpensive duvet to build a bed around — I use them in my kids’ rooms and in the guest bunk! — and these are the best inexpensive sleeping pillows. Some ideas on bold bolsters and throw pillows below:
01. This would look great with similar bedding — very red, white, and blue.
02. I love this customizable throw pillow.
03. Similar to the above.
04. The scallop trim on this one is darling!
05. All of Biscuit’s shams.
06. Another Hill House beauty.
Nursery/Bedroom and Bedding Add-Ons.
01. Cutest ceramic trinket dish.
02. Love these cordless wall fixtures!
03. The Hatch dream machine — a must!
06. This nightstand — classic!
09. Fun animal parade garland.
10. The cutest stuffed animals.
