Animal Instincts

I’ve been on an animal print kick for the past few years, and can’t seem to kick it.  (After re-reading that sentence, I for some reason wanted to write: “Big woop.”  I guess I’ve seen this David Blaine spoof one too many times — maybe it was only funny to me, having originally watched his little video programs with wide-eyed distrust, but I could not stop laughing.  But I digress.)  For example, I love this leopard caftan (DVF, on sale for $90):

I like the idea of wearing it with these hot pink tootsies (on sale for $213!):

This may be a bit much with the caftan look above, but wouldn’t those shoes look bananas with this crossbody (Reed Krakoff, on sale for $1,668):

Also, this leopard sweater ($98) is…dreamy, especially with some boyfriend jeans and a pair of cap-toe flats (Jimmy Choo, on sale for $272).  Don’t shoot me for my fall proclivity here.

Then, throw in a pop of pink in the form of this cross-body ($295):

Or, how about this easy-on LBD (Joie, $228) with some sparkling drops (Dannijo, $260) and some crazy animal-print accessories?

Anddd, just a little side-track: kinda loving this zebra-printed goat skin ($265) as a glam accent in a slick office.  I would drape it over the back of a lucite chair or layer it on top of a coffee table with some great glam accents:
