Like pretty much very other gal on the planet, I idolize Grace Kelley.  My father often tells the story that he had a big movie star crush on her growing up and wrote to her just after she married the Prince of Monaco — and, to his surprise, she (er…her agency) sent him back a signed picture of herself!  If only he had kept that over time…

Let’s take a page our of her book today by reimagining the classics.  Begin with a smartly-tailored dress or suit set, preferably in navy, red, or cream (Harvey Faircloth, on sale for $521) with generously sized pearl studs (Tom Binns, $200) and ladylike Louboutins ($841):
