I adore the simplicity and elegance of this kimono/wrap dress — and you can’t beat the price at $73.

Such a flattering cut, and I love it with a simple ponytail and these gorgeous ankle-strap heels (Zimmermann, $395):

Very understated and yet such a head-turning look.  I have a fire-engine-red silk shirtdress I found at J. Crew a few seasons ago.  Super simple and classic in cut, and yet, anytime I wear it, I get tons of compliments — especially from men.  Other classic wrap/kimono-styles for ladies on the go:

+The sexiest dress (low v alert!) in the cheeriest print;

+70s redux in washed navy;

+For summer affairs, Issa’s kimono maxis are TDF — love this one and of course this one;

+You can’t think of a wrap dress without thinking of DVF — love this incarnation, and this maxi;

+Love this loud floral print with simple sandals for a concert or with heels/wedges for a summer party;

+This funky animal-print dress;

+Pretty pastel maxi.
