My closet is pretty annoying. I think I own one yellow shirt in a sea of whites, pinks, and blues/denims. But this summer, I’ve amassed quite the collection of red statement pieces, from this Saloni dress to my go-to J. Crew red OTS bodysuit in firecracker red. I don’t know where this newfound obsession with red came from, but I’m taking some cues from these chic peas (note the bottom-most snap is of the incredibly fashionable Giovanna Battaglia):
A few of my favorite red pieces below:
+I just bought this coral statement necklace ($48), which I think will look spectacular against a basic white tee/jeans. Also comes in a lovely blush color I debated. But, why not go for the red?
+Adorable bow-shouldered top (on sale for $39)!
+Can’t get over these No. 21 satin slides ($525). So chic and splashy.
+This adorable cocktail dress ($595) would be just as perfect for a Christmas holiday soiree as it would be for a Fourth of July fete. Alternately, this Alexis style ($330) with its darling bows would make an incredible investment piece for the same versatility reason.
+Aquazzura slides (on sale for $279).
+Polka dot red skirt ($85). This fits with the whole Parisian vibe I’ve been after.
+This embroidered dress ($286) is so on-trend. Available in more sizes in a shorter style here.
+These Figue flats ($312) look like a lot of fun.
+I promise I’ll stop featuring this label soon, but this Dodo Bar Or top is on sale for $116!
+Absolutely adorable slides (Sophia Webster, $325).
+Statement skirt (Alexis, $374) similar to the one in the snap above.
+This maxi by new-to-me line Celia Dragouni ($520) looks artisanal.
+Nannacay straw bag ($153).
P.S. — Remember my obsession with the midi? Banana has a great pleated midi length skirt in cherry red available for $71?
P.P.S. — Such a fun party dress!!!
